Movie at the Park

Dunedin Parks & Recreation presents “Movies in the Park” every Friday night in downtown Dunedin at Pioneer Park. Grab your blanket or chairs and enjoy an evening with your friends and family. Movies begins at dark and is shown on a large, outdoor movie screen with large speakers. Free to attend. Concessions will be available.

Sunset Music Series @ Weaver Park

Bring your family, friends, lawn chairs, or blanket to watch the sunset from the shoreline and pier of Weaver Park while listening to some great live music. Presented by Dunedin Parks & Recreation.

  • Sept 16: North of Argyll (Modern Celtic)
  • Sept 23: Pray For Rein (Country, Rock)
  • Sept 30: More is More (Classic Rock)

Concessions available. Kinney’s Kitchen will be selling hot dogs, burgers, Italian sausage, pulled pork sandwiches, cheese/fruit tray, fruit cups, candy, snacks, soda and water.

No alcohol or grills allowed in the park. 

Free limited parking – come early! Free bicycle valet service available at the event entrance/waterside. 

TD Ballpark : Hometown USA Fireworks!!!

Hometown USA Sunday, July 3, 2021 Gates open 7:00 pm TD Ballpark Celebrate America and enjoy a live band, movie and fireworks at TD Ballpark. The band will play in the 3rd base concourse area; seating limited. Grand Stand seating will be open to watch the movie and the fireworks show. There will be no access allowed on the field. Presented by Dunedin Parks & Recreation. Band: “Bay Kings Band:” 7-9:15 pm (break for fireworks), then perform again until 10:45 pm Movie: “Angels in the Outfield:” 7:15 pm Fireworks: approx. 9:15 pm (weather permitting) $Free to attend. In early 2019, construction began on a newly renovated TD Ballpark and will continue to be home to the Toronto Blue Jays Spring Training and the Dunedin Blue Jays under a new 25-year lease agreement between the Blue Jays, the City of Dunedin, Pinellas County and the state of Florida. TD Ballpark hosted its first game on February 24, 2020 as the Toronto Blue Jays took on the Atlanta Braves.
